3rd International Workshop on Behavioural Science Applied to Surgery

 

We are very pleased to announce that, following Edinburgh (2007) and Oxford (2008), the 3rd International Workshop on Behavioural Science Applied to Surgery will be hosted by Imperial College London on September 15th-16th 2009, in London UK.


The event brings together surgeons, anaesthetists, and psychologists/human factors experts interested in safety and non-technical skills in the operating theatre and their interaction with technical performance, intra-operative clinical processes, and patient outcomes.


The Workshop will be held in the Royal Society of Medicine central London premises.  Please book the dates in your diaries – we would like to see as many of you as possible attending this exciting, thought-provoking meeting.

Our invited speakers include:

  • Prof. Daniel Scheidegger (University of Basel, Switzerland)
  • Prof. Charles A Vincent (Imperial College London, UK)
  • Prof. Jenny Dankelman (Delft University, the Netherlands)
